Chiki, Sarah, Me, Rachel, Sydney, Hannah, Hilaree, Morgan, and the Skull
Dear fabulous Cosplay Pirates. I love you so I drew you. Actually, Chiki's the mastermind behind the idea for these.  Look for them on the website soon! <3

Desert Welder

I did this last year, Mimi you should remember her (I believe you were animating a zombie at the time). It was a challenge for myself; I asked friends for a random occupation and location. I was given "desert" and "welder." I wanted to make a quasi-steam-punk meets Wild West pin-up girl.

The Spice must flow...

Thinkgeek has an awesome Dune apron, but I feel the typography alone isn't cutting it. And, that blue color, while the Spice DOES glow blue, when paired with that font, it reminds me more of Avatar than Dune. :-(

Anyway, felt like doodling a Sandworm baking little "carryall" (the vehicle that would fly in the harvester when wormsign appeared) shaped cookies. This is where I'd go from if I were to re-design the apron:

Oh, so much more kitschy than the original.

Lighting fun

Doing more design work - this time with copics. Learning from Zembillas how to really push shadows.

Lighting can be fun? -- Cool.

Star Wars and Oreo buddies are for reals

Sloths, wombats, iguanas, okapi, and tapirs are on my list of really, really cool animals. Take two of these, add a good friend and Star Wars, and well, that totally is an excuse to draw. COPIC doodle. 4"x4"

Chiki and I make good roomies, good cosplay buddies, and most importantly, good Oreo-eating/building buddies. COPIC sketch 4"x4"
